Hi all,
It's Jan 01 1941, and patrol No.13 or so.

I am based at Brest. I have the VII-b. The VII-c is available and they are building a new sub on the quay side.

I think I am in the 7th flotilla. I started at Kiel in 1938-39 in the 1st flotilla then transferred to Wihelelmshaven in the 7th Flotilla, then got moved to Brest.

I am not too sure about the flotilla I am in to be honest...

La-Rochell and Bordeux are now open.

When will I get the ability to buy a new sub?

I have nearly 20000 renown points so far. Which ain't bad...IMHO

When do I get the Ix-c? I need the extar torps and stern tubes and better range. Anti-sonar paint, radar active sonar and all that.

I don't care about the VII-c varients.

Do I need to move to another flotilla, or transfer to another base so that I can get the Ix-c or just do some more patrols and wait untill they finish the new build on the harbor wall at Brest?

I like Brest, as they don't send me over the pond to the US, just the North Atlantic at the moment.....I want to stay there right now.

When will I get to spend my hard-earned on a cool new techno-sub??

That's it

You need to transfer to the 2nd, 10th or 11th flotilla to get a IX class sub. Once you buy one and have done a couple of missions, transfer back to the 7th so you only do short trips instead of long trips.

Good hunting!

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but the reason you're not being sent "across the pond" to the US is probably because they're not in the war yet... Wink

Stock SH3 user? Refer to http://www.communitymanuals.com/shiii/index.php?title=Career_Timeline

You need to cross reference a few tables, but your question will be answered.
