If you have an unmodded install, yeah, you can copy it straight over.

Extract it to a separate directory first to be sure of the folder order. then make sure the mod data folder overwrites the data folder in the game.

Or you can just use jonesoft generic mod enabler...

In case you've never heard of it:

http://members.iinet.net.au/~jscones/software/products/jsgme.zip

put the exe in your sh3 root directory.

Create a new folder in the root directory called mods, then place all your mods in that.
all your mods must follow this rule:
silenthunteriii/mods/"mod name"/data

Then run the enabler and activate the desired mods, or deactivate them when you no longer want them.
Make sure you take the mods out in the reverse order you put them in.

I've got U-boat War Ace to work with Grey Wolves as well if you want the details...

1) In JSGME is UboatWarAce enabled?
2) In your mods folder is the structure like this: sh3/mods/UboatWarAce/data/...
3) The single missions have to be put under the ...sh3/data/singlemissions/english(or german)/<directory of signle mission name>/<mission name same with directory.

Ok so i got it working, but man does it slow gameplay down. It says you need 1gig of ram, but i have 2 gigs and get rapid slow downs when going about 256 time compression. And the Destroyers have been made super hard to destroy. Are there any mods which add historical events and adds more ships and planes around harbors without making the destroyers so hard. Im not very good at the game and just kinda play it for a recreational sim. Or is there anyway i can adjust the difficulty of the destroyers?

Thanks

Jon

Why do you need to destroy destroyers? Avoid them and go for merchants. That should be easier.

Because its hard to go for the merchants when destroyers keep harrasing you.
