I am not even sure if droop or sag or what is the correct term, but is there a table anywhere that identifies when a TA will touch bottom?

I'm using DW 1.03 with LWAMI 3.02.

Thanks again for your help. Smile

Thanks for the link, TLAM, but I'm not sure it's accurate now, with the LWAMI changes to TA length?

I was running a mission tonight, 688, and my TA was dragging mud with 385 ft below keel at 5 kts? Embarassed

Rememeber, you don't have to have your TA out beyond half length unless you want to drag it under a layer.

I use the midwaypoint of the TA as my "standard length" and then adjust the cable to be longer or shorter depending on my situation.

In 385ft, if you keep the TA at about half length, you should be able to go 7-10kts and keep it off the bottom.

How can I tell when my TA is at mid-point of stream?

When the moving green or red bar is at half on your ship control screen.
