i saw a sub running at a pretty good speed and the waves it threw up were pretty impressive (funny the things that stick in your mind)... so i'm trying to get the same effect here... actually, i'm trying to get a slightly more dramatic effect... but i wonder if it's a bit too much...

sub dynamics just about done... i just solved a problem i was having with transparencies and clipping... wasted 3 days on it... gotta do some small tweaking and the template for all the subs are pretty much complete... the interior, controls and instruments are next...

They do look a little big, but then Ive never seen a sub at flank speed. Anyone got a photo?

Just a tiny bit I'd say...lower it by, on average, a couple of feet...to say, the level of the conning tower planes on the pic...that'd probably do the trick Thumbs Up

LOL Very Happy good one... that's just some stuff that was in there when i started this development cycle transfering all my code logic over to Blitz3D...
i need a reference to test the scale of everything and the movements of the characters...

There was one where the submarine is pointed upwards like a speed boat making a huge bow wave but it was a british sub.

Is it possible that the aft ballast tanks are flooded ?
