Ah! majale! 'pigs' The most successful human controlled torpedo in WW2. No kaitenz, please. I see. They should be in Alfa Tau, aren't they?
Otherwise they should be somewhere on my HD. I will have a look. But check Alfa Tau as well. |

@ Mountbatten
What I has affirmed in one of my preceding post, has been
me reported from the person that in the past time worked
to the project "Italian assault team" (X Mas).
Unfortunately this person is not more available to work to
this idea.
I am too hocked in orde to complete the mod Mare
Nostrum-Our Sea in the good possible way.
I am not able to interest me in this old project.
In every way I recognize to be it very interesting.
Sorry...
@ JapLance
I have reported of your vain search of the model SLC to
the our technician Canarb and I hope that he give me
indications to help you to unload it.

With your permission we will insert in the mod the destroyers that you have painted, that I have already unloaded from your site. |
No problem. I'd be honoured.
@Japlance
I did a QE repaint about two years ago which I was quite pleased with, but I must say you've raised the bar on this one. Your repaint is beautiful.
@Jap,Glow,Bruno
You can sense the buzz between you three - great to see DC rocking again
@willi
Looking forward to your Mare Nostrum release. I hope it's soon. It should be quite an event |

Grazie mille, willi. Glad to hear that Canarb is still on board this ship . Can't wait for the Mare Nostrum Mod.

Thanks a lot for the compliments, but as I said before, I just make a simple copy&paste job from very good graphics. My skills in PaintShop Pro are just basic.
I'll give a try to a Southampton in Belfast colours, as Bruno suggested. You will probably notice a massive difference in quality . |

@JapLance
I've posted links to Guide on WW2 naval camo. There're camo schema for both HMS Southampton and Sheffield.
Well. there's also Mountbatten pink |

@horsa
Please, get your repaint on board. We need HMS Warspite, Bartham, or Malaya, or Valiant. Like Mountbatten once said - it's so cool when you see those BBs together but in different camo. It would be very realistic. |

No problemo Willi, after this very busy weekend I'll have a bit more time, and if you'd like I'll try my hand at making the mission myself. If you could point me in the right direction via some information, mission logs, data, etc. Particularly maps of the actual attack (ship positions, harbor layout etc.) The models have of course been tested and work right? As they said in Jaws, "I'll catch yer shark fer ya!"

Mr. Canarb says that he will try to insert again the reworked SLC/maiale/chariot in his own site within next week.
We hope. (Sperèm)
@Mountbatten
I will look for the necessary information on the books to my disposition. |

In this Italian site, you can find a synthetic relationship of the facts in English language and some photos.
I have also found relationship more detailed and a map of the action.
I will send they as soon as possible.

Thanks Willi.
I've just checked the models of Sciree and SLC, and they work fine. Didn't want to mess with the damage rooms and other graphics, so I use the standard SH2 screens.
Mission1 also works fine, but in Mission2 I've seen strange things in Alexandria. There were an Italian light cruiser and a Ocean Liner beached next to the entrance of the harbour (blocking ships?, maybe they are simulating nets?), and the harbour itself seems to be in the wrong place (this is a SH2 base.ini mistake I think, it can be easily corrected).
Here is a nice map of the attack, with ship positions. It could be useful to make a more accurate mission.

Indeed! I'll see what I can do. Just got back from my busy weekend but I'll give it a go.

I have sent you in e-mail a relationship regarding the events of Alexandria 19/12/1941.
