I'm a little dissapointed with subsim's format here, for both the forum and the mods, as there seems to be no way to search for keywords, and there's know way to organize the mods by date, popularity, keywords etc. I've been on a lot of other mod databases for other games, and they are much better organized with crossreference organizing of topics, dates, # of downloads/replies, popularity, etc. It just seems to be organized according to when the mod/post is submitted and that's it, making it much more painstakingly time consuming to find exactly what you want. Am I the only one who feels this way? Or am I missing something and you actually can do these things like the better organized game sites that I've dealt with in the past?

Subsim isn't really a mod forum.

The "search" function does work, but the search database has been cleaned out repeatedly, since I think it keeps getting overflowed.

There is a mod thread in the workshop boards, but no one has organized it in a long while. Still, there are a lot of mods in there.

If you want mods, go to http://www.u-boot.realsimulation.com/ and you will find them. That site is actually dedicated to SH3 mods.

That's all I can think of... Actually, if you hang around these forums long enough, you'll grow to like it, despite some of the disfunctional features.

We're open to ideas on crossreferencing mod topics, send me a PM?

Thanks, and I am in the process of rebuilding the SEARCH table today, will take a couple days.

cheers
Neal

OK, I'm new here, so where is this search that you refer to? And volunteer for what exactly? And what does "PM" mean? Thanks for your patience all!
