Pooner Voting 2005, Last day to vote!

For those of you computer Harpoon players out there, today is the last day to recognize two outstanding individuals of your choice.

The first award is to recognize effort above and beyond in and around the year 2005.

The second award is to recognize a lifetime of effort supporting the game and the community.

If you place a vote, I encourage you to talk up your votes here and explain why you thought to recognize the people you vote for.

These awards have been given out since 1996 by Mr. Edward Ladner (aka Dr. Who). This year Ed has deeded the responsibility to myself and the voting has gone well.

Brad Leyte wins the 2005 Pooner
Ed Ladner is added to the ranks of Lifetime Pooner

Brad took 31% of the vote in what was a close 4-way race for much of the month. Runner up had 19% of the vote, third and fourth place tied with 15% of the vote each.

Ed took 54% of the vote, nobody else having more than 11% of the vote

Congratulations gentlemen and thank you for your immeasurable contributions to Harpoon!
