Since 1.4b can't connect to Multi player,,,errrrrr

I played for 3 months no problem, updated the game each time. Once I installed 1.4b, I have not been able to play on line, basically i get 2messages, "Cannot connect to router" and "will try to conect to previous setting" don't quote me on the second message word for word but its close to what it says. I have dial up service and the peoblem started with v1.4b,,,, any ideas, been out of the war for months now. Damn Thanks Jeff Jones
