Just curious since i dont believe i have seen anything on it in any of the manuals but if you take your sub to a complete stop (00 knots) then can you still be picked up on sonar, is it alot harder, or is not any differant from running at low speeds. just wondering if someone could enlighten me. |

I aswered you this question already in other thread . In Sub Command sub is exactly same noisy on the stop, on 5 or 10kts. Only above about 10kts the noise level starts to raise. I posted an example graph for two subs how noise level changes with the speed for you. You can see there that at stop noise level is exactly the same as at 10kts. |

Hehe yeah i remember that. Sorry forgot that you covered engines stopped. Thought it was just showing noise for low speeds ( should have payed closer attention) |
