Gee, I use to be pretty good at this. I use to teach a course entitled Junior Officer Tactics at the Submarine Training Center in Charleston, SC (Squadron 4). The course was a practical, polishing course above and beyond what a JO got from submarine officer basic. Part of the course included ship identification. Many JO's got pretty good at the Soviet ships, but most, even many skippers, sucked at allied / NATO or even US ships.

Looks like a modified modern Vosper to me. The one the modelmakers call Perkasa. |
