I used to play SC on an Nvidia chip, but I recently got a new computer with an ATI Radeon Mobility 9700. Now I can't adjust the water quality to make the waves swell like they should.

Is this a problem with my drivers, video card, or is it the SCX IIC that is affecting it somehow?

Thanks for the help!

Same happened to me when I changed from the gforce 440mx with nvidia chip to the ATI Radeon 9200!

Guess there's nothing to do! sorry Sad

Well, at least now you have EMBM for those nice looking water reflection effects! lol

It's the video card. There has been a fix for this since build 105.

To use animated water with an ATI Radeon card: add "-ATIFixed" command line argument to the game shortcut. Here's how:

1. Right-click the shortcut
2. Select Properties
3. Add -ATIFixed to the end of 'Target' line, after the quotation mark
(eg. "E:\Sub Command\subcommand.exe" -ATIFixed )
4. Click 'OK'

You should now be able to adjust the water quality. Thumbs Up
