I've been playing around with the Tom Clancy SSN scenarios, and had quite a surprise tonight.


After launching a full spread on MING and KILO, I switched to Show Truth just to watch the torpedoes home in

(I was confidant I had a good solution so wasnt worried about spoiling the game.)

Sure enough my plot was right on, and I spent the next several minutes taunting the fleeing diesels "Run Dog Run!!"

Then all of the sudden, the Ming and the Kilo went AIRBORNE!!!

As in they actually breached the surface and reached an altitude of 200 feet or so above the ocean.

I was too shocked to get a screenshot, and didnt really complain because somehow my torpedoes found them anyway, but dangit.....it sure did spoil the mood of reality.


Any fix for this or idea what went wrong?

It's a bug, sometimes occuring in sim, sometimes to own sub, sometimes to others. Just put it down to a glitch in the Matrix. There's nothing you can do to stop it from happening.
Or get DW where such errors are a thing of the past
