Right html ignores UNIX type linebreaks but not MS type linebreaks (MS uses double breaks in some cases)

And yes English/Americans that can not do English grammar should be keelhauled, you can not force that upon the rest of the world, as not all of us has English as native language Wink hehe

.

Lol, yes, agreed, but html isn't my native language, either Very Happy

I apologize for using your spelling and grammar as an example, Jester. I just wanted to make the point that all of us make mistakes in speling ocasionally, but as readers, we are able to overlook them and still make sense of the meaning. That's what I like about IE, it is smart ennough to overlook my sloppy html Wink

I have installed FF and I will use it to help fix these kind of errors. Thumbs Up

http://www.nvu.com/

maybe you also want to try a mozilla based dev tool :know:

my stats show that MS IE still makes up 82% of the visitors to Subsim. It has not been below 80% since 1998. You FF flavor of the month users will just have to deal with it.

i would not accept if my income drops by 18% cause some cant view what i sell!

i use mozilla since 0.9.1 as my standard browser, ff and mozilla are both far from being perfect. alot of work has to be done, but its more useful for me than ms ie. also if i compare the changes mozilla improved a lot more than ie and i´m sure this will go on. for example, the plugin with bb and html code at context menu to make forum post design more easy. http://extensionroom.mozdev.org/more-info/bbcode

good that there are several alternatives Thumbs Up

Thanks, Dust.

Speaking of html, this is the exact webpage where I first learned to make a webpage:

I tripped over this site the other day and quickly saved it locally.

Author owns the copyright and all that stuff, i just kept a copy here so i never loose it...

Neal this solves all our Flash Issues in the future :
http://luvaduck.homelinux.org/flash.in.html.php
working example:
http://tidesofwar.net/bs/
For people without the FlashPlugin they just see a static picure of the FlashAnim, Ill change that someday to a MMFlash Banner.

Code:
   <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="/tow_gfx/flash/flashlogo.swf" width="400" height="100">
    <param name="movie" value="/tow_gfx/flash/flashlogo.swf" />
    <a href="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash"><img src="/tow_gfx/tow/tow_001b.gif" width="400" height="100" border="0" alt="Get MacroMedia FlashPlayer" /></a>
   </object>
