Gidday All,
I'm halfway through above book and it really is well written. Published in 2000, it has drawn on recently released classified information and has a very interesting and holistic perspective on the engagement / campaign. It indicates that Holland (Force Commander on Hood) was carrying quite a lot of psychological baggage which led to disastrous tactical decisions which contributed to destruction of Hood. Anyway, readit and form your own opinion.
