Are there any of you on these forums, interested in Radio Controlled Model Submarines?

This fast growing hobby, has lot's to offer those interested in controling your own submerging submarine. There are a wide variety of models to choose, from the WW11 U-Boats, British & American Classes, up to the state of the art SSNBs of the British, American, Dutch & Russian Fleets.
For the beginner, into this facinating hobby, there are a few ready to build kit's of a TypeV11B and a Type XX1 U-Boat ( parts for converting the type V11B to a type V11C are also available. These kits are built by Robbe of Austria and come complete except for the Radio parts and battery packs
Check out this web site if you are interested in a 1.7 metre long model U-Boat, that uses the simple dynamic method of diving.

Browse the web by typing, Model Submarines into your web browser, there are lots of sites relating to model submarines ( even models of Jules Vern's ' Nuatilus' from 20.000 Leagues Under The Sea)
Static diving models are also popular, but these require much more complex parts and cost much more to build.
It would be nice to hear your replies on this area of submarines.
