Patch Problems with 688I?

Loaded Jane's 688I Sim for Training for SC and DW sim soon to be released Very Happy

It loaded using Win98SE but when I tried to installed the
107 Patch it said I was missing DLLS files? I installed a set of DLLs
files I D/L from 688I sites but it keep saying missing certain Dlls files
So I gave up. :down:
What does the 107 Patch do? Is it just for playing on line?
I have SC installed. The 688I has a nice Manual full of good info Very Happy

Just wondering if anybody has trouble playing 688I with windows 98?

I wonder if somebody from SeaWolf 688 Hunter Killer group
mit known something about the above patch?
Are the dll Files just not in Win 98 or 98SE? system?
I am not playing on line just training missions and the missions and
campaign with the game?

Have you tried reinstalling 688I?
From what I gather on the 1.07 patch readme its nothing much so it should be no big deal if its not installed.

688i plays fine with the 1.07 patch on win98 (At least it did for me).
