Am playing Bill Nichol's "We Dive at Dawn" mission. I'm making the transit from the Op Area to locate the russian sub. Was wondering, from a tactical point of view, what's the best method to make the transit? Seems like sprint/drift would allow the opfor opportunities to detect you. Making best tactical speed (8 knots or less) seems like it won't get you where you need to be in any time to make contact. Any thoughts from you Sub Vets out there? And by the way Bill, I'm loving this mission! The additional voice coms are great! I'm assuming the voice is yours?
