Okay okay... I'm getting sick of this.
First my 65-76s get screwed up... now I realize that my SS-N-16s and and SS-N-27 ASWs HAVE NEVER WORKED.
I cannot set pre-sets for either missile. I need help NOW! Please!
Any idea on the table... no matter how crazy.

You turned off the FC Auto Crew correct? You have over 50% HP Air at the helm control screen. The SUBROCs are eather targeting a sub or in Snapshot mode? |

I'm a purist... never any autocrew.
Plenty of HP air. I can't even pre-set them to a bearing in snapshot mode.
Could SCXIIc be screwing it up??????? |

Hi
Quite simply ... nope.
What Sub are you driving .. an Akula ?, ... or, something else using SCU?
What Presets are you referring to? ... there are only 2 things to set for ASROCs ... Bearing and Range, ... that's all.
If this is not what you are referring to, .. then:-
.. by the sounds of it, .. given all the other problems you are having, .. there may be something wrong with your system.
Alternatively, .. you have not followed the correct installation procedures, .. for SCX II, .. then SCX IIc.
It seems like files are either going missing, .. or, are being corrupted.
Cheers

This program has some serious bugs.
I don't know what causes it.
There is a problem with the Stallions and the 65-76s.
I reinstalled it all.
Here is the situation. If I go with the original weapons loadout in what tubes the computer has selected then I can launch 65-76s and Stallions.... ONCE. Once the tube has been fired and I try to reload it with another 65-76 or Stallion they are useless.... much like this program.
Tell me... can any of you change weapons loadouts at the beginning of the game for your Akula and then USE those weapons? Oh... and by the way... all of my mods are properly installed... I'm not an idiot. |

No it doesn't. Some bugs yes, ... but nothing serious, and most certainly nothing like you are describing.
Quote: | There is a problem with the Stallions and the 65-76s. |
No there isn't. They are working fine for me, .. and everybody else that uses them.
I, ... like most people here, have been playing Sub Command for 3 years, .. and with SCX, .. for 2 of those years.
I have never had the problems you describe, .. nor has anyone else that I am aware of.
Did your download work correctly, ... maybe you should try downloading again.
Alternatively, .. just install SC by itself, .. and see if the ASROCs and Type 65 work ok.
If so, install SCX II not IIc. Check if everything works. If so, install SCX IIc. Check if everything works ok.
If after installing SCX II or IIc, .. you then have problems, .. then the chances are ... you have a corrupted download.
I've just gone thru the whole sequence of installs, .. and am not having problems with any Torps or ASROCs.
Whatever is happening, ... is specific to you and your installation.
Cheers

SCXIIc is the problem. It screws it all up.
I have a clean download. I have downloaded it 4 times without error and installed it 4 times.
SCXII is great... SCXIIc messes up the Akula loadouts for some reason.
Well... at least I was able to isolate the problem.
:nope: |

Hi
There is nothing wrong with SCX IIc. Your copy maybe, .. but, nothing wrong with the copy I have.
I have just installed SCX IIc .. again, ... and Akula loadouts are working just fine.
No doubt whatsoever, .. that whatever the problem is, ... is with you and your installation specifically.
Cheers

Are you running the Install_Loadout.bat in your Akula Interfaces folder? |

Hi Scion
That particular file installs 2 graphic files into the Akula loadout graphics, .. so that you can see the correct weapons in the Loadout screen.
It changes 53cm to UGST and Type 65 to 65-76, ... for the loadout screen graphics.
It has no effect whatsover on game play or mechanics.
Purely aesthetic ...
Cheers

All the time. Somethings up but I dont think its the mod. :hmm:
Dont use the "engage with" option to launch weapons from nav screen. It screwie from the box. The launch tube # works best at nav screen as does launching from the weapons control itself. I doubt though this is the problem.
Not being able to set presets with snapshot is weird. AC would have been my first guess... |

Also if you have torpedos and ASROCs loaded in the external tubes, once they have been fired that is it. They are gone.
You can only reload internal tubes.
I have used ASROCs and the 65-76 with no problems.
You should really check everything again. |
