Gentlemen,
I find the clicking sound when panning the scope in the 688I really irritating, so I replaced it using the sound editor - or so I thought.
The sound I replaced was 'SWO-click' in the 'Interface' folder, but it does not make any difference. I experimented by replacing other files, but again, no difference. I have no problem adding new sounds into the audio/sfg.
Am I doing something wrong, or does the sound editor not allow me to replace sub interface files? |

Clive,
I could be wrong but seems I installed Sonarman 1019 sound mod.
using the sound editor. this was on a install I just removed.
It has toned down switch sounds I think it worked on all switchs plus
Scope click noise See my post about looking for Whale's Noise today
Could this be what you are looking for? I may be way off base on what
you are asking? You guys are the SC Vets
I am getting ready to install it on my SC install with SCX11
If my SC runs ok on my present setup I may go for SCX11c with
Subchanger. had it before but had problems with lockups
I am running Win98SE SC is the only program that messes up my
screen saver won't work on exit till I got back on internet or another
program? And I can't do a normal Win98SE shut down I installed a patch
for this problem and it works for all my other sims but SC?
Sorry I got carried away writing
Regards
