I run sub command on the stock version, out of the box. What is SCX and DW? What are the system requirements? Can my system handle the updates? and how do you install? Please reply with easy to follow steps to set it up. Thanks, Jim.

SCX is a mod for SC that revamps everything.

SCU is a add on for SCX that lets you play submarines other than the default three.

The install order is:
Clean SC
SC V1.08
SCXII
>then the 2 Graphics.bat
SCXIIc
>Then the 1 Graphics.bat
ESM Fixes
SCU

Follow the instructions included with the mods and it should work.

DW is the sequal to SC which adds Patrol air craft, helos, Frigates and diesel submarines to the three subs in SC. It will be released in the near future.

Yes you will be able to play DW and SCX on your set up.

Does SCX need to run on top of V1.08? I've got my SC patched to V1.05. will that cause any problems?

You may want to keep your V1.05 sonarBB.dlls located in the interface folders from V1.05 since they seem to work better for the BB Sonar sounds.

yes SCX runs on top of V1.08.
