Hello all.
Maybe I missed this, if so  ...but will there be tutorials for various new stations/platforms as in SC? |

Shameless Plug
Orion Warrior is currently working to setup up an online University for just the P-3 platform in Dangerous Waters. There will be a full curriculum of online classroom phase, online exams (basic questions just to check you're not clicking thru the syllabus), training missions, and finally a "check" flight with an instructor to ensure you have the basics down for a given station.
You will be able to qualify for:
Warfare Specialist - general P-3 knowledge
Electronic Warfare - EW responsiblility is to support the mission by utilizing RADAR, ESM, MAD, IRDS, and IFF systems and subsystems.
Acoustic Warfare - AW's responsibility is to detect, classify and report sonobuoy contact data.
Plane Commander - PC is responsible for the effectiveness of the aircraft and crew for all matters affecting safety of flight.
Tactical Coordinator - TACCO employs appropriate tactics and procedures to most effectively carry out the mission of the aircraft and it's crew.
Mission Commander - MC is responsible for all phases of the assigned mission and plan of action. This course is advance course on Coordinated Operations, Communications, and Mission Planning.

It's hard to actually go online with this yet since I don't have a copy of the game  but the foundation is being laid now.
Keep in mind... this website is only for the P-3 aspect of DW. |

Tutorials are being worked on now, and let me tell you it's a challenge! The new platforms are so distinct (the FFG especially) that we have very little cross-over in the way of common lessons between platforms (which was not the case in SC). We want the player to get a good knowledge of how to "detect, classify, and destroy" from every platform... and for 7 platforms, that's proving to be a huge task.
