1. Will we get save anywhere?
2. Since they put the poll question up:will we get our printed manual?
3. Is it still on track for Sept. release? |

Qestion #1, good one, I'll definitely ask that. |

The visceral aspects of being aboard a submarine in wartime conditions interest me. The interior screenshots really look promising.
Will the the user be able to "walk around" the boat or are they static stations like most sub sims except "Silent Steel"?
Thx

Thanks Neal. I know some consider save anywhere to be kinda cheating, I don't like replaying missions over and over and after stalking a convoy for 45min I would hate to loose my progress because I need to go to work. |

I agree! Guys who think it is cheating can ignore the save function, I like it (as do you). |

They tell me the Save function will allow saves anywhere. You cannot quit a mission when under attack, though |

Well if I've got a DD or two scouting for me over my head and the depth charges start poping all around me I hope there is at least a "pause" key for I certainlly will need to pause in the john. |

That sounds great, and from what we are reading, it WILL work this time around. I like the idea you can't quit in the middle of an attack, thus cuts out a lot of temptation for cheating? But at the same time, when you're playing your heart out for sometimes 5 -6 hours straight and you need some shut-eye, that 'save game' looks awful good. Besides, sometimes you need to check e-mail or whatever and without the 'save' it made things difficult. Can't wait to get my hands on this 'Baby' -Nightowl |
