Brand new to Pirate games..looking for good games to play

While I have been playing sub sims a lot I have never played sailing type games. Mainly because they just didn't look good enough. Can anybody give me any ideas as to some of the better games out there??

the original sea dogs was great in my opinion pirates of caribbean was pretty good but could have been alot better
