Considering that, with AI and Realism, the Campaign forms the Holy Trinity of subsimmers, I'd have to hope that this "subsim staff" person meant, "The random campaign of SHIII won't be like the random campaign of AoD."

I dont see any actual evidence in any of that, just mere speculation and conjecture, and coming from teemu who posted inacurate claims earlier here that he was one of the devs..

I wouldn't,

Beleive anything that comes from Teemu, like NeonSamurai, had said Teemu, had posted a thread a couple of weeks ago, he was poseing and claiming to be one of the SHIII Dev Team.

He is in the Brig now for what he has done, and rightly so lol.

Quote from the thread Teemu referred to:

Quote:
Well, I think I can put you out of your misery, apples. SHIII won't be using a random campaign like AoD.

Now you can calm down.

Another quote from the same thread and the same person:

Quote:
I dare them to tell us whether they are going to use a random campaign in SHIII or not.

Looks like this person is just starting rumours (or making a joke) and does not know anything about wether SHIII will have a random campaign or not.

Its a nice joke but unfortunately the first quote is already referred to on another forum (see my first post in this thread).

Of course we should be critical but I think its not good to spread false rumours around. Especially when it says "Subsim Staff" above your avatar.

Just my 2cts

~*SIGH~*...if only state of the art graphics were applied to AOD by any developer, then re-released....I would pay $500 for a copy..and die a happy
man!...is that asking too much?

Obviously it IS asking too much, or someone would have done it already. I'll second the motion if you'll add state-of-the-art sound as well, and then apply them to SHI. Then we can both die happy.

Ok ,please add SOTA sounds too....but truthfully...I would be content to make my own sounds(yip.tip,yip-yahoo!) if the other were ever to happen.

I just got SHII/PA and started playing it.

I would say it goes a very long way towards granting your request as you stated it above. Yep

Yes it does. UBI still needs to release the code so they can fix the campaign stuff. Until then I'll still keep playing SHI as well.
