At the Royal Navy submarine museum site, the interior room with crew is a great piece of art

When I visited there last year I was completely captivated by their old Holland. You can go inside her, and though she is a vessel that has spent quite a bit of time sunk, her restoration goes nicely and you can get a pretty decent idea of what she looked like in her prime.

They also have an animated movie, 3D computer graphics, of the sub going out and torpedoing a period-correct target, and surfacing again (to be anachronistically greeted by a current English sub). A great work, and a fine souvinir.

Oh, I'd LOVE to have this boat in a sim!

This drawings looks awesome! I wish sutch drawings would exist about german subs.

@Chaps:

I wouldn't exclude the possibility to model them later but i guess i have to finish the current stuff first. Smile Then we will see in whitch directions i will go further.This idea about the Holland needs a better evaluation about how worthy it would be to invest resources in it.

Well and modeability will be part of my sim anyway.So people will have the possibility to include their favourit boats on their own,mutch like VS.

regards

Deamon

Oh, I'd NEVER want you to do otherwise! Your mod's title, "IMPERIAL U-FLOTILLA 1914-1918" about settles that. I'm totally happy with the direction you're taking. If someday it becomes possible to add a Holland, vs. Central Powers shipping or something earlier (i.e. more contemporary with the Holland's beginnings), so much the better.

But, maintain your course, full speed ahead!
