It is my great honor to announce that Hitman and the Pacific Aces dev team has signed off on the final build and Subsim Review is now sending an e-mail to all contributors with download info. I hope you will enjoy battling in the Pacific as much as I have.

Some notes, please read:

Before you install PA, read the README file. Understand we are treating you like a real-life sub commander, we expect you to read your briefing before taking your sub and crew into harm's way.

Pacific Aces now has the Hi Res mod fully implemented. This means you can install the Hi Res at the same time as PA without problems.

In order to get Pacific Aces going, you need to uninstall SH2, do a new, clean install, then patch with SH2 v1.1, add Projekt Messerwetzer (optional), and then install Pacific Aces.

Be sure to read the periscope operating instructions in the README before attempting battle.

I will be releasing the download info to batches of contributors, so if you do not receive the e-mail this very second, be patient. If I have 50 people trying to download the 144MB at the same time it could crash the server and then cause further delays. No pushing, no shoving, your notice will come this weekend, probably within the next 12 hours.

If you have trouble with PA, post your query in this forum. Be specific about the problem, detail your video card and system specs, and be SURE you did a clean install. Do not add other SH2 mods until you have played PA and you know it is working okay.
