This, for me would be the Ideal sim focusing on the dyn. Campaign (did I hear an echo??) and career building. Sure it "has" to have multiplayer to be marketable these days, but personally I spent 95% of my Gaming experiance on solo Campaigns soaking up the pride of accomplishment through out the Career. The Graphics should be awesome, but it does squat for a crappy sim.. ... ..Graphics are the topping .......not the cake!
So to Developers, however far you are into development, take heed, cause something worth doing is worth doing right......and more profitalbe """""IN THE END""""". And everyone is happy. Though I will not be a guiene pig for this game, I will take notice from my compatroits on this board anothers and based SOLELY on their response (since I trust their judgement) I will or will not buy the game.......nuf said.
Why would no one from SH2 be working on SH3??? I think that is a bad approach to take, you need to find both the positives and negitives and expand on them, not make the same mistakes.....just a thought. |

Well said I think if they did an AOD type game with SH II type graphics it would be perfect! Then they could repeat the patrol type disks as add-ons as they did with SH I This way they can add neat features like dropping off commandos and or picking up downed pilots. Like SH I they could use these add ons to include some patches as needed. I think everyone wins in this method. You pay $20 or so for the add ons and the company has a easy way to make additional money while doing some patch work. The lure of future patrol disks keeps the fans looking forword and allowes a method of installing patches without pain!!! |

Yes I should have mention two items that I missed that really turned me off to SH II. SH III should have real two way radio traffic like AOD and they should tackle the re-supply at sea question that they left out of SH II despite early claims that it would be in the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 |
