January 22, 2004 - Tesseraction Games Announces Enigma Fan Fiction Contest

Tesseraction Games is now accepting submittals for the ENIGMA: RISING TIDE Fan Fiction Contest. Stories must be set in the alternate history world of Enigma: Rising Tide between 1915 and 1939. Naval battle stories are preferred, but any story in the Enigma universe will be eligible.

There will be a $500 cash first prize award and numerous non-cash prizes for the winners including online publication for accepted entries and in print publication of the winning stories.

"There has been substantial interest in the ENIGMA: RISING TIDE backstory since release and we found overwhelming support for a fan fiction contest among our players." said Kelly Asay, President of Tesseraction Games. "New York Times best selling author David Bischoff agreed to join us in putting together what promises to be a very exciting contest."

January 15, 2004 – Ubisoft, one of the world’s largest video game publishers, announced its next submarine simulation, Silent Hunter™ III, for PC launching late 2004.


The next title in the Silent Hunter franchise will add new dimensions to the simulation experience.
